Anyone here ever seriously consider quitting gaming? A few things made me seriously start considering doing it for as long as I'm trapped in this house at least.

I mean, shit, I spend a large chunk of time every day waiting for my little brother to stop playing fucking Batman just long enough so I can actually use my tv, my speakers and my consoles for just a few measly minutes only to have my dad come in and immediately go into a fit of pure rage at the sight of me playing a game and start demanding that I turn "turn that shit off right fucking now" - _ -

Quitting gaming in general is your own damn fault. Move out and get your own place. Save up money and do it NOW legend.

dude that sounds rough, maybe you and your brother can work out a way that you can get more time gaming, get him addicted to world of warcraft or something on pc so then you have the system all to yourself.

I would not say that is good reason to quit gaming, just take a break perhaps? In time you will be able to return to gaming in full.

no, it really isn't a good reason but I'm sick of my dad's shit to the point of just putting it on a very long hiatus along with other aspects of my life that are very much frowned upon (possibly hyperbole there but that's what it feels like). I don't play much these days, nor do I even really enjoy it anymore as of late simply because of him. I would not be surprised if he was the cause of the mental blocks I've been dealing with lately either.

Also, no I wouldn't be able to return wholesale from a break, my current living arrangements simply will not stand for it.

720p@60fps. I'm loving this. I'm shocked it looks and runs so well.
