Apparently gender and sex are radically different things and 3 year olds can identify whether or not they are the right/wrong gender and trans children have the mental capacity to comprehend the concepts of gender and sex and can 100% identify whether or not they are the one they identify as...

I'm confuzzled ._.

The whole trans/non "born" gender movement is getting out of control and ridiculous to the point where anyone who dares ID as their own natural gender is the badguy.

What I simply don't understand is how a child can comprehend such a thing to the extent where they can, with 100% certainty, determine that they are not the gender they were born as or what have you. A child does not have the capacity to do such a thing let alone understand what any of it means but the trans people that were posting in the topic all basically said the same thing that they just knew even at age 5. One person in particular even recalled nearly committing suicide at the age of 5 via drowning due to all of this AND that they perfectly understood the consequences and ideas of death at that age...

I'm just bewildered. I can get the idea that they felt something was off with their mind and body, like a disconnect. The idea of a very young child comprehending and genuinely knowing this or that is completely baffling to me.

edit: I know I am slow but at the same ages where these people knew these things I couldn't even begin to comprehend what any of this stuff means >.>

I am very suspect about these people who thought their gender was not right at age 3. Hell, at 3 you are basically just learning about the world let alone your own identity or the differences between genders.

I question some of that as well, like when I'm watching a show with a transgender person and they say they knew they were meant to be the opposite gender of what they are at 5, I can understand if they realized it as a teenager or a littler younger like maybe 10 ish but really 3 years old? I have nothing against transgender people but I just feel like some of it is hard to believe. Seriously at 3 most kids probably don't completely know the difference between a guy and a girl so how can they determine what gender they really are if they don't even know that

On my Tumblr blog, I put "Proud cis male", as a joke, and of course people didn't get it. The thing is, my best friend is trans, and she was fine with it, lol.
