I finally got my new code to compile, but now unity gets a repeating error while running it. This is why I hate teaching myself things, sooo much wasted time.

The problem is I am not learning from this particular bit of code, I was copy pasting. I do not know enough about C Sharp to make educated choices on my own yet, and instead rely on the demonstration to get my bearings.

Unity, on the other hand, I have been learning a lot about. The problem stems from when I have to write code I am unfamiliar with (Which is almost all of it)

I finally (kinda) figured it out. I found a script in the youtube comment section no less that works (Though why it works and my code did not I do not know)
First time the youtube comment section has actually been useful to me.

When I tried to make my own custom items for RPG Maker based off a code of another custom item, I just kept reading the code (about 2 hours) before it finally clicked on what it was trying to do. For that particular portion, I could actually read and understand how to make the code work.

From what I can deduce from my problem, the new code declaration had to be inside the update loop and had to have a call prior to it as well. Why my own version of the did not work however, I do not know. Few things frustrate me more than feeling like I am wasting my time.

so... I unintentionally pre-ordered the Street Fighter 5 collector's edition from Best Buy even though I told the dude the regular edition o.O

Meh, I'll keep it cause why the heck not lol *hopes he'll still get his cammy costume*

Anywho, only one more week until the best N3DS comes out!!! I have $120 on it already and should be good to cover the rest before I pick it up.

As long as it is DNA making the games and not EAD I am fine with it, provided the games are not the typical cash grab that many publishers have fallen into the trap of making.
