I won't buy the dlc, but doesn't change my thoughts on nintendo's dlc practices in general.

whether the title is 2nd party or not (it's not clear if fire emblem is owned by nintendo or not) it's closely tied to nintendo at this point (just like pokemon) and any dlc practices are no doubt fully controlled by nintendo.

hyrule warriors and mario kart had great dlc.
smash was pretty good.
zelda doesn't seem very impressive so far but it's early.
but the fire emblem dlc here is down right horrid.

I am not saying I won't buy any nintendo dlc in the future, but due to the earlier dlc stuff if I was excited about a game I likely would have bought another season pass like in hyrule warriors or mario kart... after this though there is no way in hell I will do so, they will go back to how I treat every other company with dlc and wait and see instead of trust them.

that trust is broken, and it's not gonna come back any time soon.

So one example of bad DLC negates all the previous amazing DLC they've done? This is just one franchise and one that - from the reddit I've read - has done a lot of weird DLC before.

well if you followed I was pointing out that their dlc in general was already trending to less awesome.

but yes.
my trust takes a while to build up but is easily broken.
One single misstep by a company is more than enough for me to stop trusting them and become skeptical of what they will do next.

I still don't trust Atlus years after they lied with the Catherine limited editions for example.

alternatively, I thought the season passes to borderlands 1 and 2 were great.
persequel was not.
no way in hell I buy the season pass to 3 until I know what is fully in it.

Anyways, I am sorry I have not been on much lately. Finals have been kicking my teeth in, and I have barely had any spare time to spend.

Speaking of Reddit. I now have a job working as a background artist for a UK team, on a game called The Poison Green. The team themselves are experienced. And they have a guy working for them that made that game called The Cat Lady.

Yup! With my Mini laser Etcher. I am on Furaffinity asking for people to let me experiment shading and line work with my machine using their artwork.

Plus furries like buying badges and stuff so I feel it is a good market
