Ya it does! And I wish you could do that too.
Naruto is usually on top so it's nice to see it get pushed back so far! There's a whole thread devoted to celebrating when Naruto gets dethroned from the top spot. It's been happening more and more recently which is great.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
New eps of both No Game no Life and Chaika were good.
- Spoiler:
- Although the whole thing with Toru being in the illusion with Chaika is disappointing. I guess the creators are gonna go down that route. :/

Haha I see. The first few episodes are pretty slow, but it picks up a bunch, I swear to god. By the end of the series, you'll understand why the start was so slow. It sets up the ground for everything to come.
oh ok, I may have to restart it cuz I have no clue what episode I watched last, I think it was like the 4th or 5th episode
Ya, make sure you understand the beginning pretty well.
Also, good news if you guys are thoroughly enjoying the CR Battle thread (like myself). Some of the users are thinking about making more tournaments through out the year because these battles are so much fun. Though, some of them won't be traditional "pick the anime." Some will rank characters, settings, among other things.
sweet, I like that idea and I love the battle thread

I'm glad Crunchyroll put up the recent Akame ga Kill news on their site. HYPE HYPE HYPE!!!!!
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2014/05/21/video-akame-ga-kill-cast-previewed
I agree full heartedly. Akira all the way! I'm glad Toru dismissed it, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
I don't know too much about the series....

They're playing the "dense mc" card with it. Especially with both Akari and Chaika's reactions at the end. It's pretty much guaranteed they're going with that route. :/

No use living in denial, seen this done enough times to know they're not backing off of it.
- Spoiler:
- If he was gonna fall for Chaika, at least Red Chaika. She doesn't look like a littler girl. :/
Though she's not as cute and a bit more bratty. Though I love her motivations.

I have to say that Emiru has grown on me. I feel for her, and I'm totally hoping we get Akashi X Emiru. The two seem to match very well.
Speaking of Akashi, he's totally messed up. Why the hell would he want his whole family to die? Was it because he was jealous? He's totally screwed up and kind of evil for thinking that way.
I couldn't really tell if he still thinks that way or if he regrets it. Nonetheless, he's got some issues.
- Spoiler:
- Lol, you got that wrong, he didn't want his whole family to die, just his brother. That's why he was saying at the funeral that it was him that should have died.
As for Emiru, it seems it's all in her head. I kinda want Akashi to saver her, but part of me is rooting for it not to happen. For there to be a tragedy of sorts.

*starts rewatching 11eyes instead*
.....
I dunno, but I haven't even seen the Japanese version out yet, so if that's the dub version, it'll still be a while before it comes out.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
I said it when the match was set, that I was leaning towards KyousouGiga. It's a much more satisfying show. I just loved how it wrapped up and the family message just made me so warm and fuzzy.

I need to finish rewatching that show. I got bored, don't recall what I loved about when I initially watched it.

Dammit Luna, how am I suppose to argue with that!? Lol.
I finished episode 6 of Kyousougiga and I'm just not seeing how it's so great. It's good, but Nagi imo at least, just had so much more things going for it and was much more engaging. I mean, I consider Nagi to be a borderline masterpiece so there's no way I could let anything get over it. Kyousougiga just feels like a more serious FLCL to be completely honest. I like the family stuff, but then again I just don't find it too popping. Most of the episodes I get very bored :/
I guess we're just not going to agree on this one Luna....

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
It's a comedy about a good-hearted but fight-hungry magician named Louie who gets taken in (against their will) by 3 female adventurers - a fighter named Genie, a thief named May (I think) and Melissa a priestess. They accidentally uncover a conspiracy about necromancy and must try to stop it.
Louie is a good guy but clumsy and a bit of an oaf who prefers to use his fists over his magic and the girls don't really like him but they do warm up to him over time :)
Also; Nate do you have Skype so I can add you you the skype group?

Where's the fun in agreeing on everything? Anyhow, I feel like it was the ending that made this show better overall than the sum of it's parts. You can't argue against "warm and fuzzy."

True that.
And I'll get back to you when I get there. I keep on putting it on hold after each episode I watch because I just have no motivation to marathon through it. I watch an episode like every other day.
