Hmm...according to my files, 24 eps for season 1, and 25 for season 2. Subtract 1 ep from each season, since they're alternate story eps. So main story you can say is 47 eps.

Hmm, am continuing my rewatch of After Story and I'm remembering that the things I loved about this show, I love about Nagi no Asukara. That made me a bit sad on Nagi since I feel it could have been that much better. :/
I love this show, but I dislike how sappy and emotional it makes me. >_>

So I just finished Devil is Part-Timer. I liked the series, but the ending was extremely anti-climatic and I felt like after episode 5 it lost a bit of its flare.

If you count all the OVAs then Luna's numbers are correct.

Akame ga Kill anime news

Spoiler:

OMG!!!!! IT'S COMING OUT IN JULY!@?!?@!?!?!!?!?!?!? THIS JULY IS GOING TO BE NUTS!

We have SAO II, Aldnoah.Zero, and now Akame ga Kill. Like holy fuck. These three alone are going to blow some minds and the fact that Takahiro (the author) is supervising the anime is extremely comforting.

The hype is real. I've been on the train quite some time, but now it's picking up some steam. We just now need an actual minute+ long trailer to get people stoked. White Fox should be happy because the material they're animating is pure gold.

Also, we have Katsuyuki Konishi has Braht ("Aniki!!!!!!!")!? It was meant to be. Braht's and Tatsumi's relationship totally reminded me of Kamina's and Simon's. His voice will be perfect for the vole.

It's not really good, but it's interesting and mysterious. This show has potential to get really good, but it also has potential to be really stale. These first 5 episodes have been this weird in between state. It's really ambiguous and that's what is keeping me coming back each episode.

Not sure if I would say watch it right away, but it might be worth it for you to give it a try. Luna, really likes it.

Damn. I just got done watching the OVA and movie for Steins;Gate, and man they were good. I've been holding off on watching them ever since I finished Steins;Gate in winter because I wanted the emotions to die down and I thought the impact of the OVA and movie would be greater. I was definitely right.

I already consider the original anime of Steins;Gate to be a masterpiece so the movie especially had a lot to live up to for me. The OVA was more of a traditional episode with a lot of good feels (nothing wrong with that though), but the movie was absolutely stunning. The movie has got to be one of the best anime movies I've ever seen.

The OVA and movie are sequels to the anime, but the movie just takes it to the next level. The anime was already perfect, but the movie went into territory that was uncharted and I'm glad it did. It gave the series an even better conclusion than it did in the anime.

Squirrel and Luna, if you guys haven't watched Steins;Gate then drop everything and watch it. Watch the anime, watch the ova, watch the movie. I could not recommend a more phenomenal series, I really couldn't. I recommend this series with all my heart.

Do yourselves a favor and give it a go.

Haha I see. The first few episodes are pretty slow, but it picks up a bunch, I swear to god. By the end of the series, you'll understand why the start was so slow. It sets up the ground for everything to come.

Ya, make sure you understand the beginning pretty well.

Also, good news if you guys are thoroughly enjoying the CR Battle thread (like myself). Some of the users are thinking about making more tournaments through out the year because these battles are so much fun. Though, some of them won't be traditional "pick the anime." Some will rank characters, settings, among other things.

New Chaika!!!!!!!!
Spoiler:

And I think I've decided that Chaika is my favorite show of the season. Every episode has been spot on, the comedy is great, the action is awesome, the plot is different and unexpected, the characters are great (especially Tooru), and the setting is fantastic. Love this show. I hope it gets more recognition by the time the second season comes out.

EDIT: Actually, Chaika is pretty well know. It's third in most popular show on Crunchyroll right now (for today at least).

So it's not that niche. I still want it to get more popular though.
