I see. I wonder why they didn't include it now.... Maybe later?
And you're saying you haven't finished all of the manga? How many chapters does it have for it anyways?
Ya, there's something about Miyuki that's suspicious. In the opening you see her in a pool of blood with Tatsuya over her... I wonder what's that about? And the aunt seems weird. When they mentioned her they both had distraught looks on their faces... They must have a bad relationship with her; what if she killed their parents or something?
- Spoiler:
I'm guessing the LN's are being adapted into different manga's based on the story arcs. I only read the Enrollment manga. It's exactly what it sounds like, it's a manga that covers the enrollment arc, then it ends. The next arc is a new manga entirely, the magic high school competition arc. It's not even finished being translated, though. :/
Anyhow, enrollment arc is about 25 chapters, if I recall correctly. Around there.
Well I'm not sure about the Aunt Killing the parents. I know the father is alive, they mention it in like the 1st or 2nd episode. Miyuki says that he congratulated her on getting into Magic High School and she laments that he didn't even mention Tatsuya. I forgot if the anime said it, but I recall that they both said how the Aunt is the leader of their clan, the Yotsuba clan. Which is the most powerful of the 10 clans. I don't recall if they went into that detail in the anime or not, both have blended together for me.
I have an inking, and I don't know if it's hopeful speculation on my part, that the aunt and Tatsuya might have a strange relationship. Like, he's not only Miyuki's bodyguard/guardian, but her servant. And no, I'm not sure if I'm thinking in a naughty way....like I said, it might be hopeful speculation. xD
Conversely, this leads me to think that their father might be obsessed with Miyuki. Again, read into that however you like. I suppose this'll be confirmed or denied when they show them.
- MHS:
- THAT'S RIGHT! I totally forgot about that. The dad is still alive. Thanks for the reminder.
And I kind of forgot about the clan part too. So the aunt is the alpha dog basically.
And lol at the Tatsuya being a "naughty" servant to the aunt. XD That would certainly be interesting! And we'll see what the dad is like, he doesn't sound too nice of a guy either.
And that's an interesting way to make a manga. Make each arc a new manga. In a way, it actually makes sense.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
Hmm...according to my files, 24 eps for season 1, and 25 for season 2. Subtract 1 ep from each season, since they're alternate story eps. So main story you can say is 47 eps.
- Spoiler:
- Ep 24 of season 1 is the Tomoyo storyline and ep 25 of season 2 is the Kyou's story.

Hmm, am continuing my rewatch of After Story and I'm remembering that the things I loved about this show, I love about Nagi no Asukara. That made me a bit sad on Nagi since I feel it could have been that much better. :/
I love this show, but I dislike how sappy and emotional it makes me. >_>

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
So I just finished Devil is Part-Timer. I liked the series, but the ending was extremely anti-climatic and I felt like after episode 5 it lost a bit of its flare.
If you count all the OVAs then Luna's numbers are correct.
- Spoiler:
- And for a show that has a romance tag, there was barely any romance at all. The entire series I was waiting for romance, but nothing happened! UGH! Maou and Emi not getting together was just plain dumb, they lead us on the whole time and then nothing happened. So anti-climatic!!!!

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
- Spoiler:
- I liked that Emi and Maou didn't get together. That route is way too obvious for this show, but, they did leave hints and at the least it's not gonna be there right off the bat. Also, I prefer Chiho. >_>
Hmm, I forgot that it had the romance tag, I didn't pay attention to it. I saw it as a "very light" romance from the get go, so I wasn't too disappointed about that.
Still, if you want heroxmaou romance, Maouyuu Maou Yuusha is better at it, though many people dislike the economics and whatnot. I personally love it, but then again, I love Spice and Wolf as well.

OMG!!!!! IT'S COMING OUT IN JULY!@?!?@!?!?!!?!?!?!? THIS JULY IS GOING TO BE NUTS!
We have SAO II, Aldnoah.Zero, and now Akame ga Kill. Like holy fuck. These three alone are going to blow some minds and the fact that Takahiro (the author) is supervising the anime is extremely comforting.
The hype is real. I've been on the train quite some time, but now it's picking up some steam. We just now need an actual minute+ long trailer to get people stoked. White Fox should be happy because the material they're animating is pure gold.
Also, we have Katsuyuki Konishi has Braht ("Aniki!!!!!!!")!? It was meant to be. Braht's and Tatsumi's relationship totally reminded me of Kamina's and Simon's. His voice will be perfect for the vole.

New M3: the dark metal
- Spoiler:
- I have to say that Emiru has grown on me. I feel for her, and I'm totally hoping we get Akashi X Emiru. The two seem to match very well.
Speaking of Akashi, he's totally messed up. Why the hell would he want his whole family to die? Was it because he was jealous? He's totally screwed up and kind of evil for thinking that way.
I couldn't really tell if he still thinks that way or if he regrets it. Nonetheless, he's got some issues.

It's not really good, but it's interesting and mysterious. This show has potential to get really good, but it also has potential to be really stale. These first 5 episodes have been this weird in between state. It's really ambiguous and that's what is keeping me coming back each episode.
Not sure if I would say watch it right away, but it might be worth it for you to give it a try. Luna, really likes it.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
Damn. I just got done watching the OVA and movie for Steins;Gate, and man they were good. I've been holding off on watching them ever since I finished Steins;Gate in winter because I wanted the emotions to die down and I thought the impact of the OVA and movie would be greater. I was definitely right.
I already consider the original anime of Steins;Gate to be a masterpiece so the movie especially had a lot to live up to for me. The OVA was more of a traditional episode with a lot of good feels (nothing wrong with that though), but the movie was absolutely stunning. The movie has got to be one of the best anime movies I've ever seen.
The OVA and movie are sequels to the anime, but the movie just takes it to the next level. The anime was already perfect, but the movie went into territory that was uncharted and I'm glad it did. It gave the series an even better conclusion than it did in the anime.
Squirrel and Luna, if you guys haven't watched Steins;Gate then drop everything and watch it. Watch the anime, watch the ova, watch the movie. I could not recommend a more phenomenal series, I really couldn't. I recommend this series with all my heart.
Do yourselves a favor and give it a go.

Haha I see. The first few episodes are pretty slow, but it picks up a bunch, I swear to god. By the end of the series, you'll understand why the start was so slow. It sets up the ground for everything to come.

Ya, make sure you understand the beginning pretty well.
Also, good news if you guys are thoroughly enjoying the CR Battle thread (like myself). Some of the users are thinking about making more tournaments through out the year because these battles are so much fun. Though, some of them won't be traditional "pick the anime." Some will rank characters, settings, among other things.

Re: The WSS Anime Thread
New Chaika!!!!!!!!
And I think I've decided that Chaika is my favorite show of the season. Every episode has been spot on, the comedy is great, the action is awesome, the plot is different and unexpected, the characters are great (especially Tooru), and the setting is fantastic. Love this show. I hope it gets more recognition by the time the second season comes out.
EDIT: Actually, Chaika is pretty well know. It's third in most popular show on Crunchyroll right now (for today at least).
So it's not that niche. I still want it to get more popular though.
- Spoiler:
- Another great episode!
Frederica was actually helpful this episode! And lol at her giving Toru unnecessary punches!
And I'm still shipping Akira X Toru. Chaika is great and all, but it's all about Akira. They would be the better couple!!!!
