Well...while I enjoy Maken-Ki's humor, use of tits and ass everywhere, and fight scenes...

the story...is almost non-existent. At least for Season 1...

Yes, I do, I'm not sitting through that. I didn't find it that interesting, but I was at least hoping for this season to wrap up, but nooo. Fuck that!

Even if it had wrapped up properly, I would have given it a 5 or 6, so I wouldn't have been interested in a second season at all, but that ending was unforgivable.

Yes. It is one of the few anime I can safely recommend as a must watch, at least if you enjoy a bit of comedy.
It is more or less a feel good show that happens to involve a plot; though you could also think of it as an RPG in anime format.
The series seems to gets consistently better as it continues since it actually builds on previous episodes.

I started watching the new season of Fairy Tail. I get the distinct impression that the first episode is a crossover of some sort or another. Is Fairytail part of another series?

Wait....you aren't watching Fairy Tail x Rave, are you? If so, that's a one off ova that doesn't really connect with the rest of the series. Rave Master was the work of Fairy Tail's author's previous work. The new series picks up right where the other one left off. It's usually referred to as Fairy Tail (2014).

See, I think you and me had totally different mindsets about this show. I was actually expecting a cliffhanger ending like that. Pretty much when the show started I knew what it was going to do (starts out nice, then the hammer drops, and everything changes). I never expected this show to have any good outcomes, I was actually hoping that the worst things possible would happen and that's kind of what went down.

Wixoss was a deconstruction of the card game anime genre and I thought it was fantastic. For me it's a 9/10.

I guess it's not for everyone though. I remember you not even liking it that much even after the hammer dropped in episode 4 or 5. Did you not like the dark atmosphere or the characters? What's your beef? (I'm genuinely curious btw, I hope that didn't sound antagonistic)

Also I just finished Kawai Complex. Nice show for sure, I would give it a 8/10.

I wasn't expecting a happy ending or anything. I was expecting an ending. And I was expecting everything that happened. Nothing surprised me, all the twists were predictable. When that happens, I usually like to lean back on characters and this show didn't have them. Nobody was likeable. As for worst thing possible, I didn't think that what happened was that bad, I wanted to see worse, but it disappointed.
Also, I already said that I don't like card game shows, guess not even a deconstruction show would be good.
