I can't wait till amazon ships my copy of Baccano XD
how about Death Note, I know it's note quite similar to what you posted but it's very good, another one, also not similar but very good, the sub for clannad and clannad after story. I've also heard Berserk was good

From who and spilled over what?
Also, been re-reading Tower of God and I forgot how great the humor in this is. Gah, can't wait for the new season to start.

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
Damn I have a lot to give feedback on!
First off, Baccano is a masterpiece. Loved it to death. Dub is the best version of it btw.
Second, all the shows I watched today:
Aldnoah
Sword Art
Rail Wars
So far that's all I've watched. Still haven't' watched Argevollen and Locodol.

Aldnoah
- Spoiler:
Just some highlights:
- Martians wreck havoc
- Princess and servant joins Inaho's crew
- Inaho isn't a whiny, bitchboy MC like the one in Argevollen. He's willing to fight and he seems very skilled
- Slaine seems pretty sweet
- We got confirmation that the Martians started the war for their own gain, which we predicted yes, but is that a bad thing?
- Inaho's friend dies, goes to show that no one is really safe
- The OST is awesome
Sword Art
- Spoiler:
- I thought this episode was sweet. It layed out Sinon's character a little bit. Basically, she's trying to escape in the virtual world, but she's very brave and stern. I really like her.
The whole battle was really well played out. We got to see them strategize, go into position, and then execute the plan. Just like a real FPS/MMO.
And I'm guessing that Kirito will tell Asuna about what happened and then Asuna will probably encourage him to go for it.
Rail Wars
- Spoiler:
I watched the first two episodes today and I like this series. I'm not blown away by the plot or anything, but I find it very enjoyable.
I like the spice of romance and the security guard stuff. Also Aoi has a very nice butt.
So far that's all I've watched. Still haven't' watched Argevollen and Locodol.

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
Luna what did you think of Akame? Pretty good eh?
- Spoiler:
They're doing great job with the adaption so far. No complaints really.
And it seems like next episode it will only be adapting one chapter since the name of the next episode is name of chapter 4. So it makes me wonder if we'll see the infiltrator scene next episode since it could very well work great in the beginning of the episode. And we'll definitely get some anime original content to fill in the holes like Tatsumi walking in on Mine dressing (lol).
But I cna almost bet the that the cut scene will be in the beginning of next episode.
I'm glad they're giving a full episode to Mine since she's a very important character later on. She's definitely my favorite girl (besides Esdese).
Also it's taking me some time to get used to the english names of the characters. It's probably best that they changed them because it would be weird to read on the subtitle "Rabac" when it sounds like "Lubbock" and "Mein" when it sounds like "Mine" etc etc.

I found out from someone on CR that they are redoing Clannad's dubbed version, if the new voice actors are better then the original I may watch the new dubbed

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
Really? Hmm...usually that means that a different company has gotten the rights to the series, so they make their own dub with actors they hire. Still, I love the Japanese voice actors and doubt they could do better.

Really good animation during the fight scenes.

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
It has happened before. Fuck....what was it with....I'm trying to recall, but it's happened before. Sometimes a company will lose the rights to a series and someone else will pick it up, but they'll have to redub it with their own cast.
Also, I'm too into Tower of God to do anything else, right now. Only thing I took a break from it for was to watch the World Cup Final (Yay Germany, though I would have been happy to see Argentina win as well).

Tell us when you remember and fair enough. Just know that it's good and read my other comment above when you do.
I'll warn you right now: They cut out a scene for pacing purposes from chapter 2, but I think it was for the best because it wold have been crammed and rushed if they left it in (also it wasn't that important of a scene) and it might show up in the beginning of episode 4. You'll see what I mean when you watch it. I explain why it might be in episode 4 in the spoiler above.

Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
IS anyone here a fan of Hunter X Hunter? It's a fantastic anime and manga (Except the Ant Arc). The only issue is the author is a serious dick and keeps taking "sick leave". So he never finishes his work.
Re: WSS Anime Thread Vol. II
I've finally been convinced to watch/read it, since all the people in the comments for Tower of God keep saying they're really similar. That's damn high praise in my book.
