I guess I could go on a minor rant about death and entertainment. Generally speaking, I dislike seeing any civilian or innocent character getting killed in a "normal" show because I do my best to place myself into situation mentally. I say normal because I mean the setting in which the characters are in. If the show's setting is based on the real world I find it very disturbing to see the hollywood or anime approximations of people like myself getting offed on a regular basis.

On the flipside, if the world is fictional or the setting of the show is different I find myself much more at ease with characyer death. If he threat of death is either constant (Attack on Titan) or negligible (Fairy-tail/Dragon ball Z) It is simply part of the world rather than being shoe horned in to raise tension.

Once again, I knowledge the threat of peril in any story; i just find it out of place in a lot of instances.

Interesting.  A little contrived in some regards but the fact it is actually evolving automatically puts it several levels ahead of most anime.

Only the insanely violent death scenes. I read the wiki on it but it doesn't seem to make much sense to be honest.

The only death scene that bothers me is the knife in the head. I just cannot fathom how much that hurts.


What I do want to watch is ANOTHER, though. Looks like Final Destination on Crack

@mazer I haven't seen all of it but from what I can tell it's about this chick who was created as an experiment and then she escapes or something and ends up living with these two kids, I may be wrong it has been awhile since I watched it

My friend has been trying to get me to watch Elfin Lied for a long time. I did watch the first episode but it did not interest me in the slightest.
