Wow, there isn't much there that seems interesting. 2 shows, maybe more, but 5 tops seem interesting to me.

Haha Luna you gave Jitsu a 9/10 and I ended up giving it a 5/10.
Gotta love that difference in opinion.

While the story wasn't the most original, I really loved the characters. That's what made me give it the score.

Fair enough.
Also, what have been your favorite Fall shows so far? I've been finishing some stuff from my backlog since I'm not going to watch very many titles this season (this season is very dry it seems).
I recently just finished both seasons of Little Busters and the first season of Symphogear. Now it's onto Welcome to the NHK.

It's far to early to know what I'm gonna love, but I really liked the first ep of Concrete Revolutio. That's as far as surprises go. Other than that, I'm enjoying Noragami and One Punch Man, like I thought I would.

I enjoyed No Game No Life, maybe I'll give the novel a shot.

I should read those since I bought the first two novels. I know they are a little different.

Ive been watching (and loving) Durarara on netflix. I started watching the second version as well, but they don't have all of the episodes yet on handhelds.

Re: Anime Chat VIII
Durarara picks up a lot around episode 13 (Though I openly admit that is not a point in its favour)
I also managed to finish Fate/Zero with my friend tonight. The show fluctuated between good and mediocre until the end, at which point it reached the event horizon of apocalyptically bad. I have never seen a show crawl so far up its ass and die in such a spectacular fashion before. Even samurai flamenco had a more subtle decline in oblivion by comparison. I literally feel physically ill from how bad the ending was...

Lolz, I'm always getting that one recommended as one of the absolute best shows. I've seen nothing from it that interests me, though.

Re: Anime Chat VIII
It is very character focused. As the show goes on and the plot thickens things get much better as all the smart plot twists and character stories weave together. If you watched Baccano before then you should have a good frame of reference.Luna wrote:Lolz, I'm always getting that one recommended as one of the absolute best shows. Re: Anime Chat VIII
Time to scrape through anime to find a competent show... HALP!
(Typically the less anime cliches the show has, the more I enjoy it)

Baccano was taken off Funi a few days ago! So sad! License was up. Hopefully Aniplex puts it on CR with the dub...

Why is the thread so ded?
*Pokes with stick aggressively*
In other-news my friend convinced me to watch Future Diaries; which I finished over the weekend. I liked the last few episodes, but the rest of the series was not nearly as entertaining.

I thought the whole show was damn entertaining. From start to finish I was glued to the screen. The ending got a little too lolworthy with the all the god powers and time travel, but it was interesting to say the least and was definitely emotional at some points.
Yuno is just too good!
