Just kidding, I love ya....to an extent. >_>
Seriously, though, I didn't find it funny at all. I couldn't even finish the first episode.
On another note, I have 3 series, that bring the humor and cuteness, this season. Working!!!(season 3), Non Non Biyori Repeat(second season?) and Joukamachi no Dandelion are cute and overall enjoyable.
See the thing is that I thought you'd like that type of show, oh well. Still one of the best shows of the season imo. Also
Heh hehJust kidding, I love ya....to an extent. >_>
Anyways, this season has still be going strong. If we compare both the starts of Winter and Spring I believe this one has been WAY better. I have so many good shows I'm watching, I haven't dropped any and I don't have verry many "meh" shows. Let's see if it can keep this good till episode 6.

Re: Anime Chat VIII
I dropped two right off the bat, shimoneta and chaos dragon. I'm really close to droppling Rokka no Yuusha. Next ep decides if I do.
I'm surprisingly disappointed in Akagami no Shirayuki-hime. It's not bad, just not....great. I guess I was expecting this show to wow me or get me interested immediately, like Akatsuki no Yona did. It's ok. :/

Re: Anime Chat VIII
In my opinion I'm liking Snow White a lot more than Yona. I enjoy this type of romance story much much much more. Yona is pretty good, but when it comes to romance it was weak. It's plot was decent though and it's one of my top shoujos ever (though that's not saying much for me).
Snow White feels like Disney fairy tale with a Japanese spin and I love it, it's hard to compare Yona because they're a lot more different. Yona and Arslan have more in common than Yona and Snow White.
The only thing they have in common, Yona and Snow White, is that they're shoujos. Snow White's MC is also so much better than Yona, it's not even funny! Yona was such a dolt, Shirayuki on the other hand is awesome and actually has a great head on her shoulders.
The dragons and Hak carried Yona of the Dawn for me.

If we're comparing characters, I agree with you. I'm just disappointed it hasn't "grabbed" me, like Yona did. Also, Hak was my fave character in Yona. This show doesn't have anyone I like as much as him.

Hak was pretty sweet, but Shirayuki for me is the character that really grabs me. I like Zen too, but I think this time around, the MH steals the show for this one.

Re: Anime Chat VIII
I like her, overall, just find her to be a bit "uneven" at time. Like sometimes she's very shrewd and wise, but then at others incredibly naive.
- Spoiler:
- Though, the naivety part mainly comes from her going into the mountains to gather herbs by herself where she could be, and was, easily kidnapped.
I get that she's trying to be as independent as possible, but sometimes that could lead to foolish risks just because you don't want to "rely" on someone else. Overall, I do like how she handles herself, and to bring it back to a Yona comparison, at least she isn't just pining for some jerk (gods that annoyed me early on).
Anyhow, enough with the Yona comparison, on my part. Only reason I even mentioned it to begin with was because the hair is so similar (both are red heads).

Started reading, and caught up, to "Hero Union BBS." It's way more interesting than I thought it would be. In fact, I would say it really did feel like I was reading threads on a forum for heroes. It's freaking hilarious, to say the least, but just generally interesting as well. Highly recommend it.

Luna, did you die a little inside when you heard the news?

It's been a reoccurring issue for some time. You referring to the error codes? At this point, it's been pretty normal to get those every now and then.

Re: Anime Chat VIII
No, because I already knew that was the fact. They always do this when a light novel ends. The only reason the anime exists is to advertise it. Unfortunately, only the first 7 volumes of the LN have been translated. I wants it all.
Seriously, I recommend that whenever there is a cool looking new series, find out if the source is manga or light novel before really getting invested. Though be much more cautious of LN adaptations. Those are by far more than likely meant as advertisement.
Honestly, I don't mind, reading books is my first and supreme love. And I've found a tone recently that I've been enjoying (Baka-tsuki).

Yeah, it was constant errors with no error codes. I was unable to watch any videos on any devices.xXJus10Xx wrote:ianLoom"xXJus10Xx wrote:Having troubles with Crunchyroll.

The issue is no more, though.

so any of you guys watching shokugeki no soma? The first few eps aren't very good (and go to lewd at times) but after that it has been a great series.

Can't wait for that one, as well as the fall season in general. The summer season has been a huge surprise for me, though. So many shows that I'm enjoying.

I don't really have much hope for the fall season, it doesn't look very good to me at all. But alas it's the time of year that I pick up american shows and pretend like I will following them until I drop them in a few weeks because I forget they come out unless they are called The Flash lol.

I actually have no idea what the fall slate is, so I can't comment on it.

Same here. Though some finales haven't been the best thus far, but overall the season has been great. Definitely one of the best in the last 4 or 5 seasons.
