If you remotely enjoy the lore/humor of borderlands at all you should pick this up and play it. It was a great journey with great characters and at this current moment I can't think of a better game I played this year.

I mean I'll likely get it far down the line when it is cheap, but it has looked like a cute little eshop title since it's announcement not a full fledged zelda game release that they are trying to pretend it is.

the main thing that is getting hammered is the fact that the single player is garbage and the game is only remotely fun when playing with others, but even then it's not good.

I personally always ignore ign reviews because they are known to be paid off so I just read the others.

rereading those it might not be short as much as artificially padded for length with subpar content.

That sounds odd to me even when ninty makes a teeny zelda game it usually does well.

you can still enjoy games others don't

like I said, the game has felt like an eshop release since it was announced and nothing said has changed that. It is likely a fun $10 title but for $40 it is going to be reviewed harsher as more is expected from it.
