That...is a good point. All of the interactions give the option to send a note with it, but how the hell do you read them?

Also: Did the box give you anything other than rats? It cost me an arm and a leg (500 rosty gold) so I assumed it would be somehow useful.

From what I heard, yes. It has a different gameplay mechanic, but still has that DP vibe to it.

So far it looks like a Xbone exclusive. Sorry. But that's what DP was like at first right? it was originally an exclusive but eventually it found it's way to other platforms,so time will tell. but for now it's a xbone exclusive.
