However, even if it was not Link who was shown, they are still using a the same base design for the character as they did Link.

I really hope we get a trailer for the game before E3 is over. It would give us more information about the game and might help put some of these rumors to rest. That and I just want a good trailer  (Teaser =/= trailer imo.)

Also, one thing that popped up in my head cause others have said it. It's always Link's descendant we play as BUT that doesn't mean Link's descendant could not be girl at least once. It's essentially his spirit and courage being passed or, hell, even full on reincarnation as one neogaf user said. That does not mean it must be male 100% of the time

I have my doubts it is a girl though,  Nintendo may not implement jiggle physics to their female characters but they have always given them an adequate bust size.  No matter how hard I try I can't see "breasts" on the character shown in the trailer.

not really, Zelda has tiny breasts, so does Impa. Zelda is even flat when she's disguised as Sheik. Besides, this is a teenaged character and not every teen girl is busty or has bumps, some are flat.
